Children

Children
Kera Watts, Director of Children's Ministries leads this rich, wonderful program for children at University Christian Church. The church has been and is an innovative force in the community and in the country providing programs in faith development, education, and parenting.

Church & the Arts

Church & the Arts
Church and the Arts exists to promote artistic awareness and appreciation within UCC. We sponsor and administer many cultural activities, promote an in-house art exhibition, and conduct docent tours of the church building and offer organ demonstrations.

Music

Music
Worship of the Almighty God is the highest priority for University Christian Church, and worship through music is an important avenue to worship. Indeed, music is a window through which we can better see the glory of God. Since it’s founding in 1873, University Christian Church has given the music ministry an integral, important part in the life of the church. Our mission is to ensure that this rich heritage will continue.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care and Wellness ministry offers a range of services to UCC, including Parish Nurses, senior fitness classes, nutrition workshops, hospital visitation, homebound member ministry, grief and recovery support, funeral arrangements and much more.

Spiritual Growth

Spiritual Growth
The purpose of spiritual growth is to be transformed into the image of Christ by encountering the Living God. Transformation is accomplished by our openness and responsiveness to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives through the disciplines of our faith such as prayer, scriptural reading, works of kindness, keeping the sabbath, developing spiritual friendships that encourage our faith to grow and considering the will of God in our decision-making. The ministry of Spiritual Growth at UCC offers resources and opportunities for you to enhance your spiritual growth such as guest speakers, lecture series, articles, and participation in various ministry areas such as Sunday School, Bible studies and Outreach programs.

Youth

Youth
Come join us every Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. for fun, fellowship, games, prayer, worship, service, and any combination of the above! The youth groups are led by our youth ministers and volunteers. We focus on building relationships with young people through a combination of fun activities and spiritual growth opportunities. Together we explore what it is to be a community of faith and we have lots of fun doing it.
