Allison Bright

Assistant Minister for College

Allison began serving as an Assistant Minister for Youth in August of 2018 and has been a familiar face to the church, as she served as a summer intern in 2016. Allison received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Truman State University in May 2017. She lived in many areas of the country while she served and traveled as a Leadership Consultant for Alpha Sigma Alpha during the 2017-2018 academic year. She recently moved to Fort Worth to pursue a Master of Divinity at Brite Divinity School.

A lifelong Disciple, Allison grew up at First Christian Church in Macon, Missouri where her call to ministry sprouted at camp at a young age. She has extensive experience working with young people of all ages. She served as a Program Staff Member at church camp the summers of 2014 and 2015, as a summer intern at UCC in 2016, as a Ministry Intern to Children & Youth at First Christian Church in Brookfield, Missouri 2016-2017, and with college-aged-women while serving as a Leadership Consultant. Allison enjoys working with the young at heart.

Aside from church and school, Allison enjoys peppermint tea, Harry Potter (#Ravenclaw), watching historical and political dramas on Netflix (The West Wing and Reign), and dreaming of the day she can visit the places she watches and studies (Scotland and Rome).
