Rev. Addison Gardner

Assistant Minister for Youth

Addison started serving as the Assistant Minister for Youth in August of 2019. Before her time in this role, she served as a Summer Intern, performed with the Chancel Choir, assisted with Children’s Choir, and volunteered in the school year as a Youth Mentor. Addison is a recent TCU graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education, and is now attending Brite Divinity School to pursue a Masters of Divinity.
Being a Fort Worth native, Addison has enjoyed attending worships at the numerous wonderful Disciples congregations in the DFW area. Addison was born into the Disciples of Christ denomination, and has found that one of her favorite home-away-from-homes is at Disciples Crossing campgrounds in Athens, Texas. Serving in camping and youth ministries is where Addison first felt a call to ministry, and both continue to be a place where she finds peace and rejuvenation.
When she is not at the church or studying at school, you can find Addison walking her dog on the Trinity Trails or spending hours window shopping  around Fort Worth. Addison is looking forward to staying active musically through leading songs with the youth and performing in local community choirs. If you’re looking for Addison on a Sunday morning, she is probably somewhere on the third floor, or at one of the nearby coffee stations.
