A message from the Tarrant Area Food Bank

Give directly to  local emergency shelters and street outreach teams

Text Message: WESUPPORT to 41444 to give.

Give directly to University Christian Church.
We have contacted our partners at Rosemont, FWISD, Fortress Youth Development Center, TCHC, and the City of Fort Worth. They know that we are here and ready to serve when they are ready to deploy us into the community.
For now, we are being encouraged to give of our resources, follow community guidelines for health and social distancing, and to be ready to step up when we are asked.

Praying for Others
We encourage you to continue praying for the students, their families, educators and the district employees who are working hard to adapt to a new way of teaching and caring. I ask that you pray for administrators who have had to make difficult choices, knowing that school is sometimes the only place many of these students receive a meal and a place where they are safe. Pray for our health professionals who are working hard to care for those in our community and around the world. Pray for families who are separated, because of disease, violence, or those whose loved ones are working hard to keep communities functioning. Pray for those who are hungry and are worried where their next meal might come from. Pray for those who don’t know where their next check will come from. And pray for our state and national leadership…that they may work swiftly to care for our communities.

Let us know you're available to volunteer
Social distancing protocols are in place, but we are working on opportunities within those guidelines for you to help where you can. If you are interested in helping out, let us know and we will contact you when/if we can put you to work.
